Uig Pottery terms and conditions

We make many different items and they are all hand-made and hand painted so please allow for slight variations in the shapes and decorations.

Payment

Payment will be taken when you place your order. We use Paypal for the payments only. All major credit cards and debit cards are accepted through it. You don't need an account with Paypal to make a payment.

If you purchase a number of items we may be able to reduce the postage which is based on Royal Mail and Parcel Force price brackets.

Recycling

Please note that we try to recycle boxes as much as possible so your item may arrive in a box originally made for something else.

Availability

If we do not have your item in stock and cannot send it within two weeks we will let you know and you will have the option to cancel or chose an alternative product. If you need something urgently please let us know and we will do our best to meet deadlines.

Delivery

We will normally dispatch items within 2 weeks but if we have to make an item for you it will often take longer and we will keep you informed by email of times.

VAT is included in all items for delivery in UK and Europe. Outwith the EU, VAT will be deducted on payment at despatch. Please note that any custom duties incurred must be met by the purchaser.

Breakage

If an item arrives damaged please supply a digital photograph of the damaged item plus the packaging and let us know within 3 days of receiving the package.

Returns

If you are not satisfied with your order and wish to return the goods to us undamaged we will refund your purchase transaction. If the items are of good quality the return charges will be the responsibility of the purchaser but if the item is faulty in some way and is returned we will refund carriage at the cheapest rate. Please do not return broken pieces.

Cancellation and refunds

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days of receipt of goods and receive a refund but you must let us know within this time limit.  Personalised items cannot be refunded.  Refunds will be made as soon as possible and no longer than 30 days.  If goods have already been sent when the order is cancelled then refunds will be made once the undamaged goods have been returned.   Please note that items are returned at your own cost.   If you wish to cancel your order before despatch please call us on 01470 542421.

Privacy

We will not disclose information about purchasers to third parties except for delivery of goods.
